10 Tips for Finding True Love and Happiness

1. Leave the past in the past
When you meet someone new, leave any negative feelings or past heartbreaks just where they should be—in the past.

2. You won’t meet someone new in your living room
Well, maybe a cute guy will deliver your new sofa, but chances are you’re going to meet someone by getting out there and trying new things—online dating, taking a class, etc. Tell everyone, especially your married friends, that you’re looking to meet someone and ALWAYS go to parties. Because you truly never know who you’ll meet.

3. Give the guy a chance
When you were 20 your list was “he must be tall, dark and handsome.” Try going against type. It just might be a perfect fit.

4. Look at blind dates like a first date
Two of the authors of our book met their husbands on blind dates, and you can too! If you’re not sure you want to sit in a noisy restaurant, go out and do something fun. One of our Garter Brides went to a baseball game, and she and her date each brought a friend. They had a blast and got married one year later.

5. Time is on your side
Take your time in getting to know your guy and don’t feel in a rush to meet his children or have him meet yours. It starts with the two of you. Make sure this is someone you want in your life.

6. Isn’t it romantic?
Just because you’re meeting the love of your life later in life doesn’t mean you can’t still have passionate, amazing sex! The Garter Brides say “Go for it!”

7. Someone to come home to
When you’re ready to move in together you will discover how wonderful it is to come home to the one you love. Be prepared for some give and take—for example, over which of each others’ belongings stay or go.

8. What’s up with a pre-nup?
Remember that a pre-nup isn’t because you think your marriage isn’t going to work—it’s so you get to decide how your assets and everything you’ve worked for can be protected.

9. Your wedding, your way
Now you’re in love and it’s time to have your wedding exactly how you want it. The Garter Brides have had all kinds of weddings! Remember it is all about you and the man of your dreams. Whatever you want is the way to go.

10. Happily ever after can happen to you
Remember what the Garter Brides always say: “It’s never too late to find true love. We did, and you can too!’

Honeymoon Destinations in Asia

1. Bali, Indonesia

Not much of a surprise that Bali, Indonesia's most touristed island, is also one of the top spots in the world for a honeymoon. Just the mention of Bali conjures exotic images of volcanoes and private beaches. Although the island does get busy in the summer months, you can escape the crowds to romantic beach villas and eco-friendly hideaways surrounded by green rainforests.

More of a party scene, popular Kuta beach isn't exactly romantic. Instead, head for one of the other beaches in South Bali such as Sanur, Legian, or Seminyak. Once you've had enough beach time, you'll find peace, a great vibe, and plenty of green scenery in Ubud -- Bali's cultural center.

2. The Thai Islands

Thailand boasts some of the most beautiful and accessible islands in the world and with the best tourist infrastructure in Southeast Asia, you won't have to worry about the hassles of travel in Thailand interfering with your time together. The Thai islands, both on the Andaman side of the country and in the Gulf of Thailand, are well suited for romantic getaways.

If you prefer small islands, have a look at tiny Koh Lipe on the Phuket side of Thailand. Otherwise, consider Koh Lanta, Koh Samui, or some of the quiet bays dotted around the north of Koh Phangan. If things get a little too quiet on the island, you can always take a boat to Haad Rin to dance until sunrise with your partner!

3. Malaysian Borneo

There is simply no other way to put it: Borneo is a nature lover's paradise. One of only two places left in the world to see wild orangutans, you can divide your time in Borneo between searching for wildlife on rainforest treks, exploring waterfalls in national parks, and lying on undeveloped beaches. Flights to Borneo from Kuala Lumpur are cheap, often even up to the last minute!

Borneo is divided into two states, Sarawak and Sabah, that are separated by the independent country of Brunei. Sarawak is quieter, cheaper, and less busy than the northern state of Sabah, while East Sabah boasts incredible scuba diving and natural attractions. You'll find plenty of wild beauty and friendly local culture in both places.

4. Sri Lanka

Although Sri Lanka off the southern coast of India doesn't receive nearly as much attention as its neighbor to the north, the islands there rank among the best honeymoon destinations in Asia! Great spicy curry, friendly people, an interesting culture, and a much more relaxed atmosphere lure more and more travelers each year.

A honeymoon in Sri Lanka is both an affordable and unique way to start a new life together.

5. The Maldives

Not far from India, the island nation known as the Maldives is Asia's smallest country, both by population and land mass. A lack of space doesn't stop the Maldives from attracting an estimated 600,000 annual tourists who come to take advantage of the incredible island beauty and world-class scuba diving. Floating bungalows and honeymoon resorts set on some of the bluest water you have ever encountered will make you and your new partner want to stay forever.

Male is the capital, largest city, and usual port of entry for visiting the Maldives. While the beauty of the islands is breathtaking, a honeymoon in the Maldives will cost significantly more than one in the Thai islands.

So, what you waiting for ? Let's go ! -xoxo-

Bed Bugs

Hello Readers,,..
Have you ever heard of 'Bed Bugs' as known as 'Pepijat'? Some of you might wonder why am I picking this issue as my topic right? So, whatever it is let’s check a few tips that could help you when you a facing this bad-bugs. If you dont read this, you wouldnt know and might be infected.

Bed bugs are parasitic insects of the cimicid family that feed exclusively on blood. The name of the "bed bug" is derived from the preferred habitat of warm houses and especially nearby or inside of beds and bedding or other sleep areas. Bed bugs are mainly active at night, but are not exclusively nocturnal. They usually feed on their hosts without being noticed. Bed bugs are obligatory bloodsucking insects. Most species feed on humans only when other preys are unavailable. They obtain all the additional moisture they need from water vapor in the surrounding air. Bed bugs are attracted to their hosts primarily by carbon dioxide, secondarily by warmth, and also by certain chemicals. Their bites are not usually noticed at the time. They develop slowly to low itchy welts that may take weeks to go away. They prefer exposed skin, preferably the face, neck and arms of a sleeping individual. The neck and jaw line are particularly favored places to feed. Although under certain cool conditions adult bed bugs can live for as long as a year without feeding, under typically warm conditions they will try to feed at five to ten day intervals and adults can survive for about five months without food. Younger instars cannot survive nearly as long, though even the vulnerable newly hatched first instars can survive for weeks without taking a blood meal. It’s also surprised me.

How to Get Rid of Bed Bug
  • Spray bed bugs with rubbing alcohol. This kills them on the spot. Use the rubbing alcohol and a dish brush to kill the visible eggs, and then call an exterminator.
  • Point steam on them. You may get a simple device capable of generating steam at your local hardware store. You may also convert a simple electric kettle to a steam machine by attaching a flexible tube. Steam should kill all bedbugs and the eggs. Thoroughly spray steam at all corners and seams.
  • Vacuum your house. This will remove bugs and eggs from mattresses, carpet, walls and other surfaces. Pay particular attention to seams, tufts and edges of mattresses and box springs, and the perimeter edge of wall-to-wall carpets. Afterward, dispose of the vacuum contents in a sealed trash bag. Steam cleaning of carpets is also helpful for killing bugs and eggs that vacuuming may have missed.
  • Repair cracks in plaster and glue down loosened wallpaper to eliminate bed bug harborage sites. Remove and destroy wild animal roosts and bird nests when possible.
  • Consider using insecticides.
  • Discard affected items. In some cases, infested mattresses and box springs will need to be discarded. Since bed bugs can disperse throughout a building, it also may be necessary to inspect adjoining rooms and apartments.
  • Apply silica gel. Grind up some crystal silica gel and apply it all over in your bed room. Put some on your mattress, around the bed and along the wall. The fine silica gel will get stuck to the bug and it cannot be shaken off, causing the bug to dehydrate and die. You can find silica gel in some products that you buy. In a small white packet and had “Do not eat” written there.

Finding Bed Bugs

  • Dismantle the bed and stand the components on end.
  • Empty nightstands and dressers.
  • Check upholstered chairs and sofas.
  • Check other common places.
  • Use a flashlight.

Prevent Bed Bugs from Entering

  • Be wary of acquiring secondhand beds, bedding, and furniture.
  • Examine beds and headboards for signs of bed bugs when traveling.
  • Elevate your luggage off the floor.
  • Be vigilant. Warehouses, storage facilities, trucks and railroad cars may be infested so common bed bugs can infest homes by stowing away on new furniture stored or shipped from these places. Familiarity may help to avoid infestation, or at least prompt earlier intervention by a professional.

I hope that this sharing will help all of you to have a better sleep without being disturbed by bed bugs. So, lets get rid of this bugs immediately ! :D Thank you readers..
